On June 13th we were pleased to be visited by Mia Amor Mottley, the Prime Minister of Barbados, along with her esteemed guest, Frans Timmermans.
The trees planted were a Saman and Flamboyant and we look forward to them both flourishing with magnificent shaded crowns, creating the perfect community space for the various educational activities occurring on site.
“This is the essence of climate policies. You plant a tree today and know that future generations will be sitting in the shade of it. We need to be good ancestors” – Executive Vice President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans
