The One Tree for Every Bajan Program teamed up with the Future Centre Trust’s (FCT) Trailway Project to plant trees along the newly constructed, multi-use cycling heritage trail. A total of 54 volunteers from the Sea Scout Troops, Cub Scouts and the University of the West Indies (UWI) planted a total of 50 fruit trees along a section of the path. These trees included Mango, Bajan Ackee, Royal Palms, Soursop, Bismarck and Mahogany.
These trees will not only provide food for those on the trail but also shade!
