Scotiabank Barbados (2024)
In honour of Earth Day we were deeply grateful for the Scotiabank’s continued partnership as they engaged with us once again with 19 members of their team to give nature a voice!
We planted 100 trees which included Sea Grape, Calabash, White Wood, Almond, Coconut, Shak Shak and Flamboyant trees.
Scotiabank Barbados (2023)
In celebration of Earth Day, our second collaboration with Scotiabank Barbados took place. The bank, visited us with 27 of their team and family member, at Walkers Reserve to plant 150 Seagrape trees. They team approached the activity with enthusiasm, swiftly digging holes and ensuring the successful planting of the trees.
Lana Fingall, the Manager of Offshore Banking, highlighted the significance of the organization’s partnership with us. She emphasised the shared commitment to improving the environment, making it a compelling reason for collaboration.
We look forward to working with them again in the future!
Scotiabank Barbados (2022)
On Sunday, 9th October we hosted a Day of Action at Walkers Reserve in collaboration with Scotiabank, the Caribbean Tree Planting Project and the Caribbean Youth Environment Network (CYEN) to give back during the Barbados International Coastal Clean-up month, Caribbean Tree Planting Week and the Caribbean Climate Network’s Week of Climate Action.
We planted 85 trees with and removed 30 bags of debris from Walkers Beach with the help of the wonderful team from Scotiabank and a number of other helpful volunteers!
