We were invited to collaborate on a tree planting event with the St. Andrew Parish Independence Committee Executive to launch their project “From Ruins to Prestige – Restoring ah piece of our heritage”.
The launch took place on Wednesday 13th July at the old train track located at the East Coast bridge. It was a truly momentous occasion we were proud to be a part of as we continue to partner with the community as we develop Walkers Reserve. Through this community engagement activity and with the ongoing support of the Cable and Wireless Foundation/ Flow, we were able to provide 38 trees and plants from our nursery at Walkers Reserve.
The Parish Committee aims to strengthen the eco-tourism product of St. Andrew through heritage. We look forward to deepening our partnership with the PIC as we work together to connect the community with the environment.
